About This Facility
From their intimate locations in Hoboken and Vosselaar, Affect2U offers residential and outpatient treatment for addiction, eating disorders, and mental health conditions. Intentionally small programmes ensure each person receives emotional attention and safety from the start. With a fast intake process and a commitment to self-leadership, Affect2U helps clients confront substance use, process addictions, and uncover underlying trauma for sustainable recovery. Treatment is available in both English and Dutch.Build a Foundation for Recovery in 28 DaysAffect2U’s 28-day residential programme helps clients stabilise and begin recovery from addiction or other life-disrupting behaviours. Alongside detox when needed, clients explore root causes and build skills in communication, relapse prevention, and emotional regulation. Care draws on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused approaches, delivered through small groups, weekly one-to-one sessions, and family involvement, equipping clients with practical tools, relational safety, and momentum that carries into everyday life.Experience a Home-Like & Healing AtmosphereAffect2U offers 2 locations for treatment, designed with an elegant and warm aesthetic to create a home-like atmosphere. Their Hoboken clinic welcomes up to 14 clients, and their trauma-focused centre in Vosselaar accommodates 15 clients. Beyond therapy, clients build healthy habits through sports, yoga, art therapy, meditative walks, and weekend outings. They also decompress with streaming services and refuel with nutritious, chef-prepared meals—supporting calmer moods, sharper focus, and sustainable routines.Smoothly Transition from Treatment to Daily LifeAffect2U guides each client’s transition from intensive admission to living independently. The aftercare package is customised with advice from the clinical team and may include individual, family and/or group sessions. Outpatient aftercare focuses on applying tools gained in treatment, continuing to process emotions and the past, and strengthening the recovery process. It is continuously evaluated and adjusted as needed to support long-term recovery.
