Akeela Stepping Stones Residential Treatment Center offers long-term care for women facing substance use and mental health challenges. Mothers live with their children in one of 15 on-site apartments. Many are working to reunite with their children or maintain custody. Services include individual and group counseling, trauma-informed care, and life skills development. Full participation and a commitment to sobriety are central to creating a stable and respectful living environment.Stay Focused With Full-Life SupportThe program helps residents access important supports such as Medicaid, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, and child care assistance. These resources help cover basic needs during treatment. All necessary materials are provided, and medications are safely stored for self-administration. After an orientation period, phone access and visits are welcomed, and loved ones are encouraged to take part in the recovery process.
