Buckelew Programs – Marin Assisted Independent Living (MAIL)

This center supports adults in Marin County with complex mental health challenges. This long-term residential program helps clients live more independently through stable housing and ongoing support. Referred by Marin County Behavioral Health & Recovery Services or Homeless Coordinated Entry, clients gain access to affordable homes and a steady path toward healing and self-sufficiency.Heal with Guided SupportMAIL uses a whole-person approach to care. Each resident receives personalized treatment planning, case management, medication support, and life skills training. These services work together to improve mental health and daily living. Through compassionate and nonjudgmental support, the program helps clients grow stronger, more resilient, and confident in their ability to manage their health and lives.Share Space, Keep DignityResidents live in either private or shared homes, depending on their needs. Homes offer long-term stability and include access to meals in the supported housing tier. This safe, welcoming setting gives individuals their first real sense of home in adulthood. Affordable monthly rent makes it easier for residents to focus on their recovery and rebuild their lives.
