Center for Discovery Torrance provides day treatment and intensive outpatient programs (IOP) for clients of all genders, ages 10 and up, serving individuals throughout the South Bay area. Evidence-based therapies include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure & response prevention (ERP), somatic experiencing, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). The specialized Path to Peace binge eating disorder (BED) program, available virtually, offers tailored support for those struggling with BED.Trauma-Informed Nutrition and Holistic CareThe center’s CARE-CFD dietary model—"consistent attuned relational eating"—emphasizes trauma-informed nutrition therapy, collaboration, and body inclusivity with a Health at Every Size® framework.
