Cielomar Recovery offers an immersive virtual treatment program for eating disorders, utilizing a combination of videoconferencing and an engaging online environment. Their Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (VIVA IOP) is designed for adolescents requiring more support than standard weekly sessions.This program allows clients to participate in activities typical of a traditional treatment center within a virtual setting, aiming to minimize disruption to daily life by scheduling sessions during after-school hours. Treatment takes place up to 4 afternoons per week and features daily group therapy and meal support sessions. For clients in the San Francisco area, Cielomar offers monthly meetups, allowing clients to build friendships with their peers. These meetups include activities like expressive arts, restaurant outings, volunteering, yoga, and eco-therapy sessions.In addition to the VIVA IOP, Cielomar Recovery provides virtual outpatient services for both adolescents and adults.
