Clearview Girls Academy is a therapeutic boarding school serving adolescent girls (ages 12-17) with emotional and behavioral disorders. Their therapeutic programming combines individual and family therapy with equine therapy, art and music therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and other evidence-based therapeutic approaches. As a faith-based program, students participate in faith-based activities like chapel services, studies, and volunteer work in the local community.AcademicsAcademic instruction is an important component of Clearview’s program. Clearview is a fully accredited private school through Cognia. This accreditation allows students to work towards their high school diploma while in the program. Students can take a variety of courses and their academic plan can be tailored to meet their academic goals.Fitness and RecreationPhysical fitness is strongly integrated into Clearview’s therapeutic approach. They provide several activities to keep students healthy and active. Their remote location allows students to participate in a number of outdoor and adventurous activities like river rafting, rock climbing, snowshoeing, horseback riding, biking, hiking, and fishing. Students are also encouraged to participate in high school sports. Clearview supports students' fitness routines through nutritious and balanced meals.
