GAAMHA – Outpatient Services

Located in North Central Massachusetts, near Route 2, this center supports adults and youth facing substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges. Levels of care include outpatient counseling, recovery coaching, and case management. Services reach individuals unable to join residential programs by offering flexible, community-based support that meets people where they are, whether at home, in the community, or online.Build Skills Through Therapy and CoachingTherapists use person-centered, trauma-informed approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in individual, group, couple, and family sessions. Recovery Coaches and Support Navigators partner with clients to create personalized plans that address relapse prevention, emotional regulation, and grief. The team supports both abstinence and medication-assisted treatment, helping clients build skills, connect with resources, and move forward in recovery with practical tools.Access Innovative and Inclusive SupportInnovative programs expand the scope of care, including R.O.O.T.S., a therapeutic farm for adolescents and young adults that blends animal care, outdoor activities, and counseling. Recovery Support Navigation connects individuals to medical, housing, and social services while removing barriers to treatment. Affordable options, including MassHealth coverage and private-pay rates, make these programs accessible to all who seek support.
