Admissions requires a primary psychiatric diagnosis by a physician and the program typically lasts 5 to 7 days.Step Down to a PHP programFor those who do not need 24/7 support, their partial hospitalization program (PHP) provides care 5 days a week during the day for 7 to 12 weeks.
