Gloria’s House at Southern Sky

A recovery residence in a comfortable living environment for women attending treatment at Southern Sky Recovery, Gloria's House fosters a strong sense of community and helps build a foundation for lasting recovery. The recovery residence is located in a peaceful setting in South Carolina's Lowcountry, and empowers women on their recovery journey through life skills workshops and holistic activities in a structured, 14-week program.Experience Tailored, Gender-Specific CareThe exclusive women's home is a member of South Carolina Alliance of Recovery Residences (SCARR) and offers emotional safety and sisterhood, decreasing triggers, and increasing opportunities for meaningful connection. While living at Gloria's House, women will participate in daily activities, have group discussions, and share dinners nightly. All residents must participate in the outpatient program through Southern Sky to become a resident at Gloria's House and are required to attend 4 meetings a week in addition to the weekly treatment programming.Thrive in CommunityGloria's House offers semi-private rooms that house two women per room, and has a director and house manager who help oversee operations and accommodations. They have a random drug and alcohol testing policy and residents are given a weekly grocery allowance to shop for breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Gloria's House provides all dinner ingredients and residents cook and share dinners together.
