Insight into Action provides many mental health services to their clients in Virginia. With offices in Loudon and Fairfax, they extend their services to more communities. The staff at Insight believes that the combination of both medical and therapeutic services can help clients best reach their mental health goals. They treat people who struggle with anxiety, depression, bipolar, relationship issues, addiction and more.Their licensed clinicians use motivational interviewing (MI), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), emotionally-focused therapy (EFT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and mindfulness to treat a client’s concerns. Insight does not accept insurance, but will provide clients with a Superbill for clients to seek reimbursement from their insurance company.Psychiatric ServicesInsight into Action provides psychiatric evaluations for people who are struggling with substance use disorders, mental health concerns or both. They understand that not every client needs medication, but sometimes the integration of non-addictive medication and therapy can help produce significant improvement in symptoms. The psychiatric team can also provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to help curb withdrawal symptoms for clients with alcohol or opioid addictions.Court-Ordered ClientsInsight works with clients who have been mandated by law to receive counseling due to custody laws or the misuse of drugs or alcohol. The clinicians work with the client’s lawyer to provide clinical interviews, psychological evaluations and drug screening, if needed. Therapy at Insight can provide these clients a judgment-free space to address their substance use or mental health concerns, while also satisfying legal requirements.
