It is a 64-bed psychiatric facility providing inpatient care in a calm, peaceful environment. The services include 24-hour crisis assessment through its Assessment Center, making it a key resource and front door for people needing immediate help.Our Integrated ApproachThe treatment approach uses a multi-occurring model, meaning both mental illness and substance use are addressed in one plan. This is supported by the trauma informed Care model and evidence-based practices like the Wellness Recovery Action Plan and Peer Support Specialists. These methods help patients stabilize, build on personal strengths, and find a clear path toward continuing recovery.Unique Environment and ResourcesThe environment is designed specifically for healing, featuring all private rooms, internal courtyards, and a chapel for quiet reflection, avoiding the stereotypical look of older facilities. The center also supports the community by serving as a psychiatric "home-base" for law enforcement and by acting as an enhanced training facility for educators and students.
