One-on-one talk therapy allows clients to explore issues that may have contributed to their drug or alcohol abuse, and group therapy brings together peers going through similar struggles. Clients can expect a structured schedule with wake-up, medications (when prescribed), meals, classes, support groups, individual therapy, plus some free time for socializing, recreation, and meditation.Focus on Recovery in a Quiet, Rural SettingLincoln Recovery provides a healing and relaxing environment where clients can recover from the stresses of substance use disorder. Their grounds feature a serene pond that’s stocked with fish, green garden paths, a fire pit, and a volleyball court. Inside, clients can get a few laps in at the swimming pool, work up a sweat at the gym, or relax in the library or game rooms. Clients stay in private rooms and enjoy three homemade meals a day.Sustain Progress with an Aftercare PlanAftercare begins during the stay at Lincoln Recovery. Staff help each client craft a plan for long-term sobriety when they return home that includes contacts and schedules for outpatient treatment, counseling, and/or support groups closer to their home.
