Live4Lali is a nonprofit recovery community organization based in Arlington Heights, Illinois, that was founded in response to the tragic loss of a loved one to overdose. Their services include recovery coaching and peer support services, and they believe in breaking stigma, promoting dignity, and offering hope.Education, Harm Reduction, and Support ProgramsLive4Lali provides a wide range of services focused on education, advocacy, peer and family support, and harm reduction. Their work includes educational programs for schools, parents, professionals and the public to increase awareness of substance use disorders and changing drug trends. For harm reduction, they distribute naloxone kits, fentanyl test strips and other “safe use” supplies, and operate mobile outreach units to meet people where they are.Inclusive Services for AllThey serve individuals who are using substances, those who are in recovery, loved ones of people impacted by substance use, and broader community audiences including youth, families, schools, law enforcement, and professionals.
