Long Island’s team does a thorough evaluation upon arrival, so clients’ treatment plans are customized to their needs.Continuum of CareLong Island Treatment Center offers partial hospitalization (or day treatment), their highest level of care where clients receive more hours of personalized therapy sessions. Their intensive outpatient program meets multiple days weekly, and has fewer program hours compared to day treatment. Their evening intensive outpatient allows clients to heal as they continue working, attending school, and caring for their children.Long Island Treatment Center’s outpatient program is ideal for clients who are farther along in their recovery and require fewer treatment hours. Clients can stay in any of their outpatient programs for as long as they need, but the average length of stay is 3-4 months. For those struggling with cravings and withdrawal symptoms, Long Island offers ancillary withdrawal services to provide additional support. They also educate clients on proper medication management, ensuring that each individual's needs are met throughout their recovery journey.Well-Rounded TherapiesLong Island Treatment Center’s doctors, therapists, and nurses use a variety of therapies to create a comprehensive treatment plan. Clients participate in 1:1 therapy, group therapy, and family therapy. Long Island Treatment Center offers evidence-based therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), relapse prevention planning, and 12-Step facilitated group.
