Located in the heart of Red Bank, Middletown Medical supports recovery from opioid addiction through evidence-based, medication-supported care. With both intensive outpatient programs (IOP) and office-based opioid treatment (OBOT), the center provides flexible options that adapt to each person’s progress and needs.Building Strength Through Connection and SupportPatients engage in one-on-one and group counseling, exploring drug and alcohol addiction, trauma, and relationship challenges in a supportive setting. Group sizes typically range from 8 to 12, encouraging shared learning and connection. Specialized groups include yoga, art therapy, meditation/mindfulness group, parenting and life skill classes, and off-site 12-step meetings which builds emotional resilience and practical skills for daily life.Beyond Treatment: Keeping Patients EngagedThe center features a therapeutic garden where patients grow herbs and vegetables, building confidence, teamwork, and a strong sense of connection. As an inclusive space, it welcomes people of all gender identities and sexual orientations, ensuring a safe and affirming environment. Telehealth options including virtual intakes for suboxone patients and tele-counseling sessions—provide expert care beyond the clinic setting. To further remove barriers, the center also offers transportation to and from treatment at select locations, reinforcing its commitment to accessible, patient-centered care.
