Orchard Mountain Recovery

Serving Charlottesville, Albemarle, Fluvanna, Nelson, and Greene counties, this center provides outpatient care for individuals managing daily responsibilities while recovering from drug and alcohol addiction. With a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, the center offers an integrated path to healing through an evening intensive outpatient program (IOP) and continuing care. These programs serve as accessible community resources for individuals and families.Flexible, Skills-Based Support for Real-Life ChallengesThe center's approach is client-centered and flexible, focusing on practical solutions. Through individual and group counseling, clients learn social and problem-solving skills to change negative thought patterns. This skills-based method empowers individuals to build a strong foundation for abstinence, supported by a safe, caring, and confidential therapeutic environment where they can openly address their challenges.Heal Together with Weekly Family GroupsThe center offers dedicated programs that support the entire family. Weekly family groups provide education and help rebuild relationships and trust. Additionally, the center provides specialized educational classes for individuals referred by James River Commission for Virginia Alcohol Safety Action Program (VASAP). For clients who complete initial treatment, a Recovery Maintenance program offers ongoing group support where clients practice relapse prevention skills and master new coping strategies.
