The program supports a wide range of mental health needs and includes a licensed sexual rehabilitative unit for youth who have engaged in or are at risk for sexually harmful behaviors.Support Emotional Growth through Core TherapiesTherapists use trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trust-based relational intervention (TBRI), a trauma-informed model that centers on connection, empowerment, and behavior change. Staff deliver daily services that include individual sessions, psychoeducation, recreation therapy, and medical support. They also coordinate psychiatric evaluations, medication adjustments, and ongoing assessments to align care with each youth’s treatment goals.Encourage Growth with Structure and LearningResidents share rooms with adjacent bathrooms and use laundry facilities on each unit. A nutritionist plans meals and includes daily snacks. Licensed teachers run small class-size schooling that follows the individualized education program (IEP) and the state curriculum. Youth participate in gym and outdoor activities and earn therapeutic outings to parks, restaurants, and movie theaters as they make progress.
