Set just northeast of the Isthmus, Phoenix Rising provides 1-on-1 counseling with Kim or Cheri, who hold licenses in counseling and substance use recovery. They treat clients recovering from alcohol or drug addiction, anger, ADHD, anxiety (including generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety, panic, perfectionism, phobias, performance anxiety, and imposter syndrome), depression, bipolar disorder, grief and loss, PTSD, and legal issues like intoxicated driving.Phoenix Rising operates weekdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. They can arrange appointments outside those hours at their discretion.
