Pyramid Easton Outpatient treats adults and adolescents with substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns. Pyramid Healthcare seeks to make treatment affordable, accepting most private insurance and Medicaid as well as county funding and medical assistance. Clients can participate in an intensive outpatient program (IOP), meeting 3-4 hours per day, traditional outpatient treatment, as well as drug and alcohol assessments to help place clients in the proper level of care. Pyramid Easton offers walk-in assessments on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 AM - 12 PMTreatment MethodsPyramid Easton Outpatient Treatment Center offers individual therapy using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help combat negative thought patterns and establish healthier ones. Clients engage in specialized group therapy, learning coping and relapse-prevention strategies, sharing their experience with others and learning from others in similar circumstances. Specialized groups are available for adolescent clients. Clients and their loved ones participate in family or couples counseling with the aim of increasing understanding and communication, with family support groups also available. Pyramid Easton also offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults to help reduce substance cravings, especially for opiates and alcohol.Location and TransportationLocated near the high school, Pyramid Easton Outpatient Treatment Center provides treatment to residents of east central Pennsylvania and western New Jersey. Clients enjoy convenient access to Highway 22, connecting Easton to Allentown, and I-78, with parking available at the building. For clients traveling via public transportation, bus line 106 and the BLU bus stop within a 10 minute walk of the building.
