About This Facility
Solstice House is a residential program supporting women in recovery overcoming substance use and co-occurring moderate to severe mental health concerns, helping them integrate back into their communities. As part of a supportive community, clients receive individual and group counseling, case management, psychoeducation, advocacy, HIV/AIDS prevention and education, and referrals for healthcare and housing.Co-Occurring Addiction and Mental Health ConcernsSolstice House is exclusively for women who have both substance use and moderate to severe mental health concerns. The community embraces a social model, aiming to help women achieve lasting sobriety, mental health, and personal growth. Participants focus on securing housing and employment while developing strategies and skills to prevent substance use relapse and coping with mental health concerns.Non-ProfitSolstice House is part of Riverbend Incorporated (formerly Lowell House Incorporated), a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Riverbend receives funding from a combination of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, MassHealth Insurance, client fees, grants, and fundraising.
