About This Facility

Round Lake Treatment Center provides a 42 or 39 day residential and motivational experiential counseling program for clients who have not fully recovered from the physiological effects of drugs and alcohol, do not require detox, and are sufficiently emotionally stable to undertake counseling without psychiatric treatment. Round Lake's treatment works towards empowering individuals to accept personal responsibility and to help them recognize their own worth and potential. The structure of the program includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and sensorimotor psychotherapies. Most treatment processes are conducted in a group setting in which the client can learn how to interact, support, and engage with their peers in a communal environment.Round Lake Treatment center practices trauma-informed care, and a safe, supportive environment is key to success. The Recovery Lodge is surrounded by nature and provides a sense of instant serenity. Clients will enjoy amazing views, a gym, a library, healthy meals, and opportunities for sightseeing and shopping in town. Transportation to scheduled events and to necessary appointments will also be provided. Round Lakes’s daily rate for residential treatment is $200.00 CDN per day. For First Nations clients, treatment is covered by the First Nations Health Authority.Round Lake is a well-rounded, internationally CARF accredited organization that operates under Trauma Informed Practices whose Program Director’s mantra is; “We are here to serve; It is all about the clients”.
