SOZO Addiction Recovery Center provides treatment for men struggling with drug and alcohol misuse. Their dual-diagnosis facility provides counseling and support through methods such as one-on-one therapy, group therapy, life skill building, and the 12-Step program. The experienced addiction treatment staff supports this faith-based recovery community with their residential and intensive outpatient programs.Residential Treatment ProgramThose participating in the residential treatment program at SOZO receive 36 hours of treatment per week following an evidence-based curriculum. The program covers a broad range of subjects such as anger management, relapse prevention, introduction to the 12-step recovery process, coping skills, and financial management. This faith-based recovery program consists of activities that include bible studies, worship services, and weekly church classes and recovery meetings off campus.SOZO Recovery claims that clients may accomplish in one month what would take 90 days in a more traditional program.Transitional LivingWhen residents reach month 3 of the residential program, they are typically in a place where they may be ready to start transitioning back into their day-to-day lives. The intensive outpatient program at SOZO involves transitional living on their campus in one of their 3 transitional homes, sitting on over 6 acres of land. Individuals in this program will participate in recovery related activities 9 hours per week. For those with active employment, which will change to as little as 4 hours after 3-4 weeks. Unemployed residents at first will participate in 15-17 hours of group and one-on-one therapies as well as support services in finding employment. It is mandatory for any resident that is on campus at the time to attend any recovery meetings or classes being held.
