The Recovery Village at Palmer Lake is a rehabilitation center with breathtaking views of the Colorado mountains. They provide a medical detox, inpatient rehab, Day Treatment (PHP), intensive outpatient program (IOP), and outpatient treatment. The Recovery Village has a multidisciplinary approach that ensures that the physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual needs are all being addressed. They believe that true recovery does not happen when a client is isolated, and this is why they have a family program giving the families an opportunity to learn and heal as well. During the family program, they have private counseling, group sessions, and support groups. The Recovery Village focuses on co-occurring disorders such as sex addiction, anxiety, gambling addiction, post-tramatic disorders (PTSD), depression, and bipolar disorder. The Recovery Village has around-the-clock care and access to medical staff, regular physician visits, medical care plans, and recreational therapy programs like equine therapy, yoga, and art therapy. Specific therapy methods used are cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), 12-Step groups, S.M.A.R.T recovery, and rapid resolution therapy (RRT). The Recovery Village is accredited by The Joint Commission, and they accept a wide range of insurance plans.The Recovery Village has semi-private accommodations and amazing views from the patios of the Rocky Mountains. The amenities include a fully equipped onsite gym, pickleball court, tennis and basketball courts, walking paths, and a meditation garden. The Recovery Village’s accommodations are gender-specific.
